SAFE started as a simple idea: sober people deserve a seat at the party, not a pamphlet in the lobby. Since 2018, we’ve grown into a statewide platform — producing events, training peer specialists, and building university partnerships that make sobriety visible on campus.
Our approach is peer-driven, not clinical. The people who run our programs, staff our event sections, and sit with students in recovery have lived it themselves. That’s not a credential — it’s the whole point.

Free, COPA-approved peer support specialist training for Adams, Denver, Boulder, Weld, and Mesa County residents — funded by S.AF.E, powered by Polaris Pathways. We’re building toward 150 trained peers by end of 2026. No experience required. Lived experience preferred.
